SRI RAMRAJYA FOUNDATION TRUST

The recent times has seen the glorious resurgence of Lord Sri Ram and Ram Rajya through the construction of the Temple at Ayodhya and the spiritual enthusiasm that it has generated.

Apart from the spiritual dimension, the golden age of Ram Rajya encapsulates an ideal society that embraced the concept of “Vasudaiva Kutumbakam” – an inclusive society free from discrimination and biases, long before the term ‘global village’ was even coined; dispensation of rightful justice for all without discrimination; prevalence of Peace or Shanti; economic and social prosperity; Ahimsa or Non violence , principle which has reverberated in the teachings of great Gurus like Buddha, Mahavira and Mahatma Gandhi who used it very effectively to counter powerful nations.

For millenniums, India had absorbed these concepts of Ram Rajya into its everyday culture and tradition, though in recent years there have been challenges both on the domestic and global fronts. Wars, violence, societal differences and disharmony have tended to dilute the noble concepts of Ramrajya.

Thus there is no better time than present to bring back the ethos and essence of Ram Rajya and set an example to India and the world of an ideal , free of violence and prosperous and harmonious society.

It is with this objective in mind , the Sri Ram Rajya Foundation has been registered as a non profit charitable Trust at Ayodhya on 11th December 2020 by me , alongwith other two Trustees, Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra, and Shri Rahul Kumar Shukla.

The Trust has its aim and objectives, to work for the establishment of an ideal society based on the principles , values and ethics of Ramrajya and for a conflict and violence free society. To achieve this, we propose amongst others, to promote and assist special education and vocational skills, set up learning institutions, mentor talented students, organise and facilitate conferences, research and courses on various aspects of science and arts with special emphasis on ethical values .

We also propose to run health programs and establish and maintain hospitals, research on traditional therapies and focus on gender empowerment and environment sustainability. Another important activity is promotion of our national heritage and culture development of arts and handicrafts.

One of the important activities planned is the holding of the Ayodhya Literary Festival in the coming months. While the concept of Ram Rajya is loosely spoken of as an golden age full of prosperity, actually very little is known about the various facets of the period – whether it be the type of governance, education, science and technology, laws and legislation, justice systems, health care, economic activities etc.

The literary festival will bring together a gathering of researchers, academicians archaeologists, scientists and other experts who have researched and studied the Era. The ultimate aim is to use the outcomes from the Festival, to develop learning capsules which can be adapted to the present day and provided to schools, colleges and other training and educational institutions to generate awareness on the subject. In this way, we can pave the way to establish a true Ram Rajya, an inclusive , violence free, harmonious and prosperous society.

We seek the support and guidance and blessings of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanathji in our endeavours to facilitate in establishing the spirit and essence of Ram Rajya in our country and eventually globally
